Aircraft Mechanics – not standing still at Stansted
July 6th, 2010First People Aviation held a highly successful open day for Ryanair at Stansted airport on the 2nd of July. Senior Consultant Kelly Rossi commented “Open days are a great opportunity for aircraft mechanics to establish new contracts. We have contracts in a variety of aircraft mechanic roles, particularly B1 licensed engineers, and our open days provide a flexible opportunity for aircraft mechanics to attend, at any given time of day. Due to the flexible nature of aircraft mechanic contracts this has been an ideal recruitment method and we hope to hold another open day very soon. 2010 year saw the 4th annual Scottish Recruitment Awards take place at Glasgow’s prestigious Hilton Hotel on Thursday 10th June. With 5 finalists nominated across 4 categories, First People Solutions were delighted to take away the award for Individual Volume Specialist (Kelly Rossi, Aviation) and receive special commendation for Individual Recruitment Consultant (Scott Wilson, Construction) – both pictured above.

FPS New Divisional Manager for Construction Trades
April 28th, 2010John Scott, MD of First People Solutions, is delighted at the appointment of David Anderson to head up the Construction Trades team. In 2010 we have seen a complete u-turn in the Construction Trades sector with many new accounts being established and serviced by David and the Construction Trades team. Construction Trades will put a high focus on M&E projects providing the lads with a healthy order book until the end of the year.
