Scott Wilson of FPS

I have enjoyed working with Scot Wilson as my recruitment consultant for the past 8 years; he has worked closely with my construction team at my previous employer Clansman Interiors, and I now have the pleasure of working with Scot at my current employer CBES ltd.
 
Working in construction on high specification projects for blue chip clients requires dedicated team players both on and off the field. I hold Scott in high regard as one of my key players in my team. Scot has proven successfully and professionally a high standard of competence in resourcing the right people for the right job in a quick and responsive manner. Having Scot on my team assures me that projects will be managed correctly as his track record for recruiting diligent, polite and experienced managers has been 100%.
 
As a person, Scott is well mannered, polite and understands his line of business very well. I can rely on him to not let me down when times are difficult.
 
Scott has experienced many challenges with new Health and safety legislation being introduced to the industry. He as always exceeded the expectations that we have set up him to delivering the right man for the job.

Here at Labtech in Aberdeen we have had for many years a reputation for employing people on a long term basis. Recent financial constraints along with the securing of some large projects we have been forced to re-think our strategy.
 We looked for the first time at using agencies for our labour supply. Due to past experiences with other companies this was entered into with a fair bit of caution. By sheer chance I took a call from a David Anderson from First People Solutions in Glasgow who was looking for a reference for a past employee of ours. During our conversation he suggested we meet and discuss terms. I was immediately impressed by his no nonsense down to earth attitude and we arranged a meet the following week.
During this meeting which was attended by myself, Scott Wilson and our HR manager were very impressed with what was on offer but above all and most important David put us at ease with any issues we had. Since then we have hired staff from him a number of times and he has never failed to deliver. Any time we have had an issue David has responded immediately to our requests. We have no intention of looking elsewhere for employees despite pressure from his competitors. To sum up FPS is a well run professional company which I firmly believe is mostly due to the fact they have David Anderson at the helm

We have been delighted with FPS’s service on our Project at Coltness High School, North Lanarkshire.  We have been provided with a first class electrical subcontractor whose install is superior that we would have expected by using standard agency labour.  The cost savings are of great benefit to the health of our project and these costs are up front which makes them easy to manage.  I will certainly speak to FPS for subcontract labour in the future.
